I recently branched out of entertainment and into higher education for a very exciting project with The D4D.
The full scope of the Stony Brook University re-brand (which was created in partnership with SimpsonScarborough, and for which I served as Executive Producer and Lead Copywriter) included print ads, video, massive billboards, an annual report, swag, collateral, a comprehensive new style guide, and.... a totally new magazine.
Working with a super talented team to create this print publication was an amazing experience — as was the opportunity to write one of our feature stories. And when I say print, I mean print... 35 glorious (and big!) pages that you can hold in your hands. Our reimagination of what a university magazine can be went on to win both a Silver and a Bronze at the CASE District II Awards this year (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
I'm so proud of what we accomplished with Issue 01, and I look forward to more projects like this one.
