Food Network asked us to create a fresh brand look that would simultaneously speak to their diverse target demos and create a special destination not just for food, but for food entertainment.
It was time to dig in!
Because there were certain parameters in place, we optimized what the graphics package could do to deliver both information and personality.
After exploring a variety of avenues, it was the use of circles that offered the greatest flexibility and brand impact. We were able to make the most of the logo form, establish different moods (playful, direct, dramatic, fun), and even suggest an ongoing conversation between viewer and network as the circles became an ellipsis...
